It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gérard  (Gerry) O’Neill who went peacefully on 20th July 2026, aged 85.
Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Kay) O’Neill, devoted father of Gerard, Marie, Eamon, Dennis, and the late Hugh and Tommy.
Much-loved father-in-law of Seamy, Pepe and Hayley. Cherished granda of Brendan, Seamus, Ryan, Niamh, Orla, Faye, Thomas and Sean, and a devoted great-granda of Carágh, Fréadh, Maisie, James, Olivia, Amelia, Romi and Fiadhna.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his entire family circle.
Gerry will repose at 16 Rosehead Drive from Wednesday 22nd July. House private on Wednesday for family only and friends are welcome to call and pay their respects from Thursday 23rd July onwards.
His life will be celebrated on Saturday 25th July at 10.00am in Holy Cross Church, Ardoyne, followed by committal at Roselawn Crematorium 12pm.
The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all the nursing staff and carers whose kindness, compassion and dedicated care brought Gerry great comfort in his final days.
