The family of the late Bernard (Barney ) Tolan would like to express their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported them during the passing of our beloved Father, Husband, Grandfather, and great grandfather. We were deeply touched by the generosity of all who’s visited, sent mass cards and sympathy cards, wreaths, brought and sent food. We are so grateful for the support from all the staff at PJ Browns Funeral Directors for their guidance, especially Brenda and Joanne.

We would like to thank Fr Charles for his beautiful mass and music and all at Holy Cross Chapel, Chris who guidance was greatly appreciated, Fr Troy for his blessings.

We would like to thank the health care professionals at RVH who cared for Dad.

Dad’s month mind mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Chapel on Sunday 04th October 2026 at 12pm
