It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Matthew McCarthy (Matt), who died peacefully at home on 30th July 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved partner of the late Bernice Campbell.
Matt will be forever loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken family: his mother Jean, his daughters Andrea, Caoimhe and Gena.
His twin brother Jim, his sisters  Ann, Susan and Teresa.
His cherished grandchildren and all his nieces, nephews, wider family and friends.
Matt was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him and will be deeply missed by all.
Matt will be reposing at his home, 8 Brompton Park, BT14 7L
Matt’s  Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, 3rd August, at 10:00am in Holy Cross Chapel, followed by burial in Milltown Cemetery.
Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for him. May he rest in eternal peace.
